16 Sep 2018 | 11:30 am - 12:30 pm

On September 16th, following the 10am Eucharist, we will have coffee hour and a dedication in the Lucie Faramelli-Cathy Hughes Outreach Center. The Outreach Center houses our outreach ministries of Grandma’s Pantry and Diaper Depot.

Lucie Marie Schaffer Faramelli (1929-2017) was a voracious reader and lover of jazz music. Lucie was an activist for human rights and instrumental in establishing the first of three shelters for victims of domestic violence. She was a founding member and long active in Waltham’s WATCH CDC. A member of Christ Church Episcopal, Lucie was founder of ‘Grandma’s Pantry’ in 1990.

Catherine H. Dunlea Hughes (1942-2017)  was was a boating enthusiast and member of the Watertown Yacht Club. A member of Christ Church Episcopal, Cathy helped develop the Diaper Depot and Grandma’s Pantry.

The Outreach Room is being dedicated in the names of these two long-time leaders. We hope to see you for Eucharist and the dedication!
