The Community Day Center of Waltham, a not-for-profit organization, is the only day shelter in the metro-west area. They provide a warm and welcoming place for the homeless and those who may feel alone and isolated. By building a trusting relationship with guests and providing them with access to services, they move beyond crisis and move toward self-sufficiency. It is open Mondays through Fridays from 1:30pm to 4:30pm. In the winter months, they are also open in the morning from 7:30am to 9:00am.
